{"id":1870,"date":"2019-03-01T14:13:00","date_gmt":"2019-03-01T14:13:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/concilio.velstudio.it\/?p=1870"},"modified":"2025-04-17T14:14:10","modified_gmt":"2025-04-17T14:14:10","slug":"myanmar-pavilion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/progetti\/events\/myanmar-pavilion\/","title":{"rendered":"MYANMAR PAVILION"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>From March 1st to September 1st, 2019<\/strong>\u00a0the<strong>\u00a0Republic of the Union Myanmar<\/strong>\u00a0will be present at the\u00a0<strong>Triennale di Milano<\/strong>\u00a0with its own national pavilion at the XXII\u00a0International Exhibition titled \u201c<strong><em>Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survivor<\/em><\/strong>\u201c. The exhibition will underline the concept of restorative design, highlighting objects and concepts at all scales that reconsider human beings\u2019 relationship with their environments \u2013 including both natural and social ecosystems.<br><br>The Myanmar pavilion\u2019s title \u201c<em><strong>Harmony between nature and human being<\/strong><\/em>\u201c, chosen by the curator\u00a0<strong>Mauro Salvemini<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 and president of\u00a0Culture2All \u2013 ONLUS \u2013 simply invites the visitor to reflect on the relationship between nature and human being that in the past, overall, used to be harmonious and based on a use anchored to the traditions and rituals.<br><br>The works on display are by the four contemporary Burmese artists\u00a0<strong>Aung Myint<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nann Nann<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Nyein Chan Su<\/strong>\u00a0e\u00a0<strong>Saw Moe Zaw<\/strong>, while the Italian\u00a0<strong>Lorenzo Bar<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Stefano Polo<\/strong>\u00a0have realized the big bamboo tree sculpture that stands in the middle of the art space. The pavilion \u2013 says curator\u00a0<strong>Mauro Salvemini<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 intents to ensure that the visitor enters an atmosphere and a space of reflection welcomed by the bamboo tree and the sound of the bells that transcend the material space, which are the perfect synthesis of putting together the \u201cnew\u201d and the \u201ctradition\u201d in contemporary art.<br><br>The general commissioner or the pavilion is the Honorary Consul for Myanmar in Northwest Italy and Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce Italy \u2013 Myanmar.
