{"id":1241,"date":"2025-04-16T08:05:56","date_gmt":"2025-04-16T08:05:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/concilio.velstudio.it\/?p=1241"},"modified":"2025-04-16T08:05:57","modified_gmt":"2025-04-16T08:05:57","slug":"suspension","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/progetti\/exhibitions\/suspension\/","title":{"rendered":"Suspension"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The suggestive exhibition of the painter Alberto Deppieri held at Centro Candiani di Mestre, Venice, has the significant meaning of \u00a0\u201cSospensione\u201d (suspension) since\u00a0it tries to portray the instant in which time and space meet each other.<br><br>The seventeen displayed artworks, wich have a common origin in the abstract-pictorial video called \u201cFluxus\u201d, well represent Deppieri\u2019s creative path and his\u00a0own unique technique as well. The exhibition presents suggestions and images realised by the artist through the extrapolation of\u00a0frames and snap-shots, materials that are the bases for\u00a0his paintings: at first, the image is fixed on canvas, then it is manipulated in several stages by using different substances, as polycarbonate, wood or resin, and sandpaper.<br><br><strong>Tiziana Agostini<\/strong>, Chairman for Venice Cultural Activities Committee, who attended the opening with Roberto Turetta, President of the City Council, claimed that \u201cthe outcome of this effort gives us precious artworks that involve peculiar suggestions: on one hand, they express the personality of the artist, and, on the other one, his special relationship with Forte Marghera and Mestre, his hometown, which\u00a0Deppieri is able to represent in its true soul.\u201d<br><br>The video\u00a0\u201cFluxus\u201d will be shown tomorrow during the inauguration, accompanied by a live soundtrack of\u00a0<strong>Madriema e Romina Salvadori<\/strong>.<br><br>The exhibition has been curated by\u00a0<strong>Federica Luser<\/strong>, and realised in collaboration with\u00a0<strong>Centro Candiani\u00a0<\/strong>and<strong>\u00a0Concilio Europeo dell\u2019Arte<\/strong>, under the patronage of the Municipality of Venice and its\u00a0Cultural Activities Committee as well.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Solo exhibition of Alberto Deppieri<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":3,"featured_media":1233,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"footnotes":""},"categories":[15],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-1241","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-exhibitions"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1241","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/3"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=1241"}],"version-history":[{"count":1,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1241\/revisions"}],"predecessor-version":[{"id":1242,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/1241\/revisions\/1242"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/1233"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=1241"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=1241"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/concilioeuropeodellarte.org\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=1241"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
